The Nook Lite, our lowest cost model
Nook started out with a totally unique concept— a van with a full rear bathroom and gear garage, unlike anything else on the market. That orginal model has stood the test of time. We’ve built a lot of bath-in-back vans with our over the years, and know that it’s a great floor plan that suits many lifestyles.
Just the same, the camper van industry continues to change, and we enjoy changing with it. People looking for camper vans are more diverse than ever. Unfortunately, materials and components are more expensive than ever as well. We were curious what it would look like to create a low cost, high function, ultra-durable van while maintaining our time-tested systems and premium materials. The Nook Lite is our answer.
The Nook Lite is an affordable camper van conversion.
We know that affordability means something different to everyone, and we can’t say what affordable is for you. However, we can say it is very hard to get a fully outfitted camper van for under $100,000. With a used 144” Mercedes sprinter and a Lite model build out, you can do that. The Lite starts at $66,950 and includes everything you need to hit the road.
The Nook Lite is high functioning.
The Lite model has our classically clever hideaway kitchen, heat and air conditioning, premium windows, a circulation fan, EcoFlow power system, plenty of storage for gear and personal items, and a queen size convertible lounge bed.
The Nook Lite is easy.
Camper vans maintenance can be a big commitment and that’s not for everyone. With the Lite we made sure to make it as low maintenance, durable, and easy to use as possible. It has a self-contained kitchen and water storage system, meaning no filling or dumping.
With a queen size bed in back, a second twin bed in front, and the option to add up to three more sleeping spots, the Lite can sleep up to six campers. While driving, seating is available for up to four passengers; it’s great for families with kids, weekend campers, groups of friends, and festival goers.
Two (of many) possible configurations.
We’re excited about our versatile new model and can’t wait to put them out on the open road. Learn more about the Lite here, and don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you’re interested in building one of your own.
