Your packing list may vary depending on your trip, but here are a few essentials and some tested team favorites.

Places to Stay

  • Nook’s custom assistant and app includes camping locations from Harvest Host, KOA, Campflare (state and public campgrounds), and Landtrust. This can be used to search for available places to stay. Additionally check out the Map on the app for the pins that we added from personal expereince.

  • National Parks Pass - for access into the National parks and some great deals on campsites

  • Apps: Gas Buddy, iOverlander, Harvest Hosts, All Trails

Essentials

  • A compact hose for drinking water. Getting an inline hose filter is also recommended if the source is iffy. This will reduce sediment, chlorine, and foul odors in your tank.

  • An extension cable

  • Eco-friendly cleaning products are essential for caring for the planet

  • Small broom and/ or Vacuum - Trust us, you are going to want to sweep your sandy van floor often, so make this chore a little more enjoyable with a beautiful hand held broom from Leafted

  • First Aid kit because boo-boos happen even on the road

  • Blankets from Rumple and sheets from Hest

Kitchen Wares

  • Pots and Pans - GOSO offers stackable, portable, high quality cookware for real cooking everywhere you go

  • Dishes: plates, bowls, cups, utensils, your favorite coffee mug. Think: lightweight, stackable and non-breakable

Coffee Time

  • Theres no wrong way to make your morning coffee, but we love a perfect grind and the ritual of the pour over. The Nest kit from VSSL is beautiful and compact and everything you need to start your day off right

  • If you prefer more of french press taste you cant go wrong with the classic Aeropress. One addition we like to have is the Prismo from Fellow, it replaces the paper filters with a reusable metal filter and with it’s valved opening it not only makes for a more espresso like taste it also helps keep the possibility of a mess to a minimum.

Storage

  • Rux Storage bins and bags - high quality, high capacity, and so versatile. The best way to organize your space. They work great in the Utility Spa
